Approvals
Queensland Pacific Metals is proposing to design, build and operate the Townsville Energy Chemicals Hub (TECH project) in the Lansdown eco-industrial area, 40 km south of Townsville.
The TECH project is a sustainable high-purity battery materials refinery developed in response to the growing demand for battery materials for electric vehicles, particularly nickel and cobalt.
QPM now has all primary approvals (Tier 1 approvals) required to begin construction of the TECH Project.
